Drivers seat
It won't move forward or back. I swapped out the switches and no luck, but I hear the motor (I think that's what is clicking) so is it the motor? Fuses obviously are good. Any ideas?
how sure are you that the fuses are good? dont go by the clicking... are you sure the clicking isnt just the relay?? if so you might have a blown fuse for the load side of the relay, such that the relay will still opperate just no power going through it... they had a big problem with where the wires for the lumber and recline motors go into the seat back at the hinge they will get chaffed and short out, blowing the 40 amp fuse. check the fuse and let us know... ive never seen a disco seat motor go bad, but to go on, do any of the other adjustments work?
I replaced the 40 just to be sure and still nothing. All of the other controls work just not forward and back (even if I could get it to go all the way back I would be fine).
I don't see anything blocking the track...

relay would be the next pplace to go, at least without actually diagnosing it, but its a lot cheaper then a motor. but if power in is good, and switches are good, theres not much else in that system
Well I tried to remove the bolts with an allen wrench. Notice the word tried...there is barely enough room to reach them and I certainly can't get any leverage on them. So am I really going to have to replace the motor?
