ahhaa I have to add to this list but my problem a little different.... I have passenger lights normal but weak drivers side... no mater what bulb... when I turn on headlights and push brake light my drivers side rear goes out and right side is very bright... when inspecting bulbs, on passenger side the bright element comes on but on drivers side the dim of the 2 elements one on.... I haven't tried to change out the harness to the bulbs but after reading I may try... I noticed on the good passenger rear side there was some burnt looking pin but that could have been a previous issue from when I bought disco 3 years ago and was " repaired" lol my issues of course only at rear of disco

there are a couple relay under the steering wheel that are the actual flashers for the lights, for some reason LR uses separate flashers for right and left lights.
My Disco had a similar problem and the one of the flasher unit was bad. try switching the relays and see if the problem follows. The relays are about half the size of a standard relay and they are different from early to late models

Default Been a while I know

But yes, there ARE 2 fuses, it should be 10 AMPS, it is under the dashboard 7 rows up on the left side(8 if you count the spare), even if it is good, (looks good, mine did) replace it anyways, I'll bet it wil get fixed., but do check that wiring harness and make sure nothing is grounding for the trailer connection, other wise it will blow again.

Thanks,
Mike

Well, It has been a while, but I remeber that the fuses looked good, but I replaced them anyway. You can see my initial message on location. Also, the bulbs, could have burned up with the fuse. This did happen to me because of a bad connection to an old trailer light harness, I do not know if that is your case. While searching, I also found out the the license plate light holder lights (there are 2) one was rusted and grounding out, or touching the other contact, and that may have been the problem. I would check the fuses, there should be 2 as well (I had people tell me one, NOT the case----- 2) and they are Egyptian type hieroglyphic symbols, so check them against a list of English! Replace them anyway. Good Luck.
