I am in the middle of rebuilding my driveshaft. How in the H@ll do I remove the center ball from the fricking driveshaft?

 

I think most people slide-hammer it out.

I didn't have anything good to clamp it to when I did mine so I had to do the lever method.

Rotate the ball so the hole is horizontal. Get 2 big flatblade screwdrivers. Pad the rim of the case with something and put a blade in each side of the ball. Push down on both screwdriver handles an the ball will pop right out.
