Default DTC 1193

After installing my new plugs and wires I reset my check engine codes so I could see if any codes pop up again and which ones. Prior to doing that I had 1193, 1447, 0158 and at least one other I can't remember at the moment. After driving for a while my CEL came back on and since I had my code reader on the passenger seat I went ahead and plugged it in and read the codes, after I stopped of course. The only code that came back was P1193 - Oxygen Sensor Heater Circuit Open Downstream. Anyone know if there is a fix for this code other than replacing the O2 sensors?

Other then possibily a connection problem, as far as I know, there is no fix other then new 02's.
How many miles on your truck?

112,000 on the truck. I just bought it in July and have no idea if the O2s have ever been changed although I am suspecting that they have not. I did check all the connections and everything is clean and tight.

I was getting that code a few weeks ago and plugs and wires solved it.

Just did Bosch Platinum +4s and Magnecor 8mm wires. They cleared the other codes but that one came back. Afraid I may have to break down and replace the O2s.

If it turns out you need 02's, go to Rover Connection and check out their 02 information. Turns out there are 2 different sets of 02's depending on your vin, so don't buy te wrong ones.

Thanks for the help Mike. I'll probably be contacting you before I actually buy the O2 sensors to help make sure I get the right ones.
