Default DVD Player ?

I know that there was a Factory set up but it seems like it might be hard to hunt down all of the pieces. Have any of you guys had any luck with an aftermarket unit? It sure would be nice for the longer car rides with my three girls. The space to mount it looks a little tight for most of the ones I have seen. Thanks Guys

You should have one mounted under the front passengers seat, have you checked, is the wire harness still there if so, buy a good used one and plug it in, don't go after market.

Just buy a portable one with 2 screens, hang them on the head rests and plug into the cigar lighter when needed, store in the house when not needed.

I had one of these a few years ago, different brand though. Worked great for our trip to Miami.
Even had input jacks for the PS2.
One kid could watch a movie while the other played a video game or watched a different movie.
A hell of alot cheaper than a in car dvd system too.
And can be used in the house as well.

The factory setup is "plug and play" and simple to install, best option imo, but as you say you have to find a full kit

This guy in the UK has a "few"

In case you decide on an aftermarket unit, I have installed a Clarion flip out screen DVD player, just buy the harness needed to work with the factory amp and your good to go, screen clears the dash with no problem and no modifications needed. I'm very happy with our setup.
