Has any one mounted an OEM LR brush guard made for a pre-'03 Disco II to an '03 or '04?

I just cant find the steel OEM brush guard designed for my facelifted '04. Craigslist seems to have many more for the earlier model DII available.

Do I just put some verticle notches in my bumper cover and mount it up?

 

03Discoman put an earlier (99.5-02) DII brush guard on his 03 DII a while, back, search his threads as I think he did a write up.

You'll have do some bumper trimming yes.

Thanks for the info guys. The link is just what I was looking for. Hilltopper, I'm in San Diego. What would shipping the guard cost? I'm fearful it would be too much $$.

Anybody else reading, if you have a DII bar available let me know. I found a couple pics of an earlier brush bar on an '04 on the Lucky8's website in the customer's ride section.
I like the look and want one............off to Craigslist I go.
