Default EGR delete 1999 discovery 2

I recently did an EGR delete on my 99 disco 2
but it seems once it runs for a while or gets up around the 100 the engine light comes on and the car goes into limp mode.......
I had a super great drive home at 2kms an hr for about 20km

Since the V8 didn't have an EGR system, I'm assuming you're talking about a Td5. You may find better luck looking at one of the Australian or UK-specific Land Rover forums, as the diesel is largely unavailable in North America.

That said, nothing I've read indicates that removing the EGR system does this, so I would check the code you're getting and see if it's related or not.

Welcome to the forum. I also believe the EGR delete wouldn't cause it to go into limp mode.
Get a diagnostic tool, clear the codes, go for another run, and see if it goes into limp mode again. If it does go limp (lol) get the trouble codes and post them here on the forum.
