Default ELEVATION

So I made the move to CO from phoenix AZ and because of the elevation (loss in atmopsheric pressure)I feel like I lost some power but not much. Can't really think of any ways to boost it. Any Ideas? Thanks! She's in top shape and fully maintained.

Doubt there's much you can do in terms of increasing oxygen to the motor due to elevation...short of a nitrous system - that would be awesome on a LR

Having lived there for 23 years before moving to California --and being a motorsport nut that moaned about the loss of power in everything I owned over the years-- here is the deal. You lose 3% for every 1000 ft. above sea level. In Denver-- that equates to about 15% power loss.

On the Land Rover, there is very little that can be done to overcome this -- short of changing out the camshaft and fitting a custon Cat-Back exhaust systemthat flows better. These Modsmight pick you up about 20-25 h.p.

When I moved back here to Colorado last year, I noticed the loos of power and expected it since I had lived here before.
One thing I did notice though was that my mileage remined the same but my shift points were all messed up mainly cause I had my truck trailored her so it never got a chance to adjust to the change.
I spoke with a goos frien who owns a Rover shop and asked about getting my truck reprogrammed and he just suggested disconnecting the battery for a couple hours and then letting it relearn to my driving habits at the higher altitude and it worked well.
Then last week I replaced my old Plus 4 plugs and installed a set of the new Bosch Fusions. First tank of gas out on the road I jumped up 2.5 MPG to about 18.7 MPG at 65MPH with the ac off averaging 65.
Might want to call me since you are now pretty local and we can talk about it.
