Default The elusive sunroof drain tubes

Hi all. I've read the posts describing the front sunroof drain tubes as running down the A pillars and exiting somewhere behind the front wheels. I have been unable to locate them. Does anyone know if factory mudflaps or the wheel well covers need to be removed to find them?

Thanks

I'm having the same issue finding them on my 2004. Also, can you usually see the drains in the corner (up top), or just the channel that leads to them? I just had a service manager look at it and he said mine looked different?

You can not get to the front drains from the bottom, only from the top. The drain hoses are black and are connected to the front sides of the sun roof tray. The rear tubes can be reached from the bottom. Just remove brake light assembly. You can clearly see them and blow them out from the bottom up.

There should be a black 1/2" hose behind the brake light. The end is below the brake light. For the front, have you tried to pour in some small amounts of water into the sunroof drain corners?

I did find it .. I didn’t think it would actually be IN the brake light housing 🤦🏻‍♂️ Like why drain that close to wires… but it wasn’t even clogged.. I just bit the bullet and blew in it and it was smooth flow. I think it’s just how my hose was positioned there isn’t enough drop to drain. Think I have enough figured out for those just going to be touchy. BUT spraying water up there to check showed me I have water leaking in from my dash somewhere.. from the hood I guess and along the A pillors (that aren’t in the best shape) going down the door seal and getting in 🤦🏻‍♂️
