Default Emission pending code

Have done quite a bit of work (bosch plat +4 plugs, 8mm magna core wires, new alternator, new air filter) on 2001 disco II, 106,000mi. The CEL was on with po171, po174, po734 and p1590 codes (3 amigos have been on for years). I removed the MAF and cleaned the sensor with MAF cleaner. I cleared the codes. Drove for 40 miles and now the CEL is Not on, but I am getting PENDING codes for PO 174 and PO171. Does this appear to be a new MAF sensor need? Thanks. 2 separate mechanics told me I needed a tranny due to the PO 734 incorrect gear ratio code. The truck otherwise runs great. No slips, tranny fluid level good.
Help appreciated, need to get this inspected in NY. Thanks

Thanks for tye link. I know what they mean, I have read that if the three of them come up together it may mean a faulty MAF sensor. At this point I don't want to start throwing money at the truck by buying a new mac sensor if that won't fix the codes
