Default EMU Shock Issue

Hi everyone. I noticed a light clunking coming from the passenger front wheel when going over bumps. It wasn't very noticeable on the drivers side, but when I rode in the passenger side I could hear it and fell it better. I pulled the tire thinking it was a loose shock, and this is what I found on the bottom mount. I'm thinking this is not normal. Any ideas?

unless the d2's are completely different than the d1's (which they probably are) thats not right at all... the front shock should go straight through the mounts on the top and bottom... that looks like a rear shock (at least on a d1 it would be)... but i only know d1 suspension so that could be what is supposed to be there...

Looks like a bad bushing.

Definitely looks to me that the bushings need replaced. A bad bushing will allow the shock to move on the mounting bolt causing your clunk sound.

so i take it that the front shocks on a d2 dont have the straight bolt that goes through the bottom mount then...

Got my setup from Tony Cerrone. I called him and it's all covered under warranty. ARB is shipping a new one out tomorrow. Excellent service from Tony.
