Default Gear Box

Have a 94 automatic and the gear box for positive traction and low high jumped out of gear and will only go into positive traction low or high. I can't get it back out of that setting at all and into just HIGH. any ideas?

Your linkgae is seized up.
Crawl under the truck and spray the linkage with a penatrant/lubricant and keep trying to move the lever.

so what you are saying is that you can only get it to go into high range with the transfer case locked? no low range and no unlocking the transfer case?

It only goes on the DIFF side in High and Low. Which means whenever that side is engaged the light on the dash pops up and tells you all four wheels are locked and driving at the same time. It will disengage to neutral but will not go in the far right side High or low.

for now, so you can drive around go under the car and removed the pin holding the linkage to the transfer box, then use a 13mm wrench to turn the bolt that the linkage goes to counterclockwise

then work the linkage bar back and forth till it comes free.

Did the t/case make any grinding type noise when this happened?
Do it make any noise while driving in High Lock?
