Default enabling "single point entry" remote door unlock

The user manual states to go to a dealer to have them program this feature- where one press of the unlock button on the key fob remote unlocks only the driver's door, and two quick presses unlocks all doors.
Since my driver's door lock actuator just went out and considering the costs (thanks Lucky8 for the new $100 part, much better than paying $200) I thought to take stress off all the other door locks since my truck often only has one driver.
Can this be done without the dealer?

You'll need a scan tool that change access the BCM options. I would think an independent shop would have something. You may want to make a list of things you'd like to change and do them all at once. Do you need bathrobe disarming? ;-)
