Engine blew up without warning - what are my options?
Hi,
I think this tip is really great. Since I have also driven my Discovery II too hot (emergency had to go to the hospital) -> much too warm -> suddenly there was no water etc..
I have read many of your posts and will do it as you described. Let the lid loose one turn and remove the thermostat.
I'm really curious whether the car then brings me the next few years to shop in the neighboring town.
Also your execution about the engineers at LR in the 2000s regarding the thermostat I found good.
Thank you very much!
