Engine Code - P0447 - Rodent Damage?
All,
A few weeks ago I posted a message regarding an engine code P0447 which related to an emission control valve. While working on the horn (which is non-functional by the way) I noticed what appears to be a chewed through wire on one of the sensors. A little closer look revealed a chewed hose also. Forgive the focus on the attached picture, but does anyone know what this is? It appears to connect to the fuel filler system. Given the code and what it means I can only assume that they are related. There is also what appears to be a cable that runs to the throttle body.
I can fix the hose and electrical connection myself, just need to know what it is so I can order the proper parts. This is a 2000 Discovery II.
Thanks,
Chris
