Default Engine cooling fan

Hey guys I am going to have to replace my engine cooling fan after It went out and now I'm overheating at idle and I was wondering if anyone knew of a good upgraded fan I could put in without any further messing about, just one that I could easily put in that would work alot better than the stock cooling fan.

A quick search of this forum will show you the recommended replacement fan, but what do you mean by "it went out?" Unless the fan came apart physically, it's likely the fan clutch that "went out," not the fan.

Well yes the fan clutch I was just saying while I'm at it I wanted an upgraded fan not just a stock recommended fan.

Search is your friend. The recommended replacement fan and fan clutch are documented widely on this forum. A little effort on your part will yield the answers to your question. Really. Just a little effort.

On a 99-02 just replace the fan clutch with a hayden 2781/2991. On an 03-04 you’d use the same fan clutch plus a Dorman 620-112 fan blade (03-04 assembly is a one piece design). I just copy pasted this from one of my earlier posts.

From finding an earlier post I think I'm going to go with this one here, from what I says I believe it is supposed to be an upgraded one.

That is craaaaaaaaaaaaazy money!!! Look elsewhere.
I think I paid under $80 total for the Hayden 2781 and Dorman 620-112 parts for my 4.0L V8.
