Default Engine cooling Fan clutch

Has anybody had any experiences changing out mechanical cooling fan clutch. Mine is sticking and now
I am getting loud fan noise as it is running all the time. 2001 D2 100k . Thanks in advance for any
advice it looks very straight foward just seeing if anything I should watch out for.

Easy to take off if you have the narrow wrench needed to fit in behind the clutch hub.
Atlanti British sell them, you may also find them at a good tool shop.
While you are doing this, also look at your belt tensioner and the idler pulley, they may both need to be replaced if they haven't been done yet.

Check your water pump for play too. No fun when that thing goes out, disasterous - trust me....
