Default Engine Flush...?

After reading the 60k servicing, is it really worth it to do an engine flush? i have read conflicting reports out there, i know rovermike recommends it but a couple other guys on this forum say not to. Just want to make sure I am not doing something unnecessary.

Skip it IMO. If you want to use something then go with AutoRx, or just do a couple of 1000 mile oil changes. Flushes can knock of large pieces of junk and they can work their way through your engine and do some damage. It is better to use something that will dissolve the build up over a longer period. That is what some people say anyway, I would rather err on the side of being cautious than go all out ATF flush and possibly do damage. Go to bobstheoilguy.com and search engine flush.

If you have been using a good oil and frequent changes, a full flush is probably not needed. That being said, a 1 quart can of Gunk goes into my engine, just prior to changing, which has kept my engine clean and well oiled.
