hello all, my check engine light is on in my 98 disco. Went to Autozone, they hooked it up and the code it gave was P1316. What does this code refer to? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

The 1316 Code is interpreted as "Misfire Excessive Emissions Fault". It can be caused by a stuck fuel injector, bad spark plug wires, a fouled plug--- and in general should be corrected before it causes irreversible damage to the catalytic convertors which are expensive to replace. How many miles on your Disco?-- and has it been serviced according to the schedule?

it has 140k, the plugs and the plug wires along with the fuel filter were replaced at 130k (they were NGK plugs) Im gonna check them out along with the wires. Anything else should i look for? Thanks.

Make sure you are running premium fuel. Run a bottle of good fuel injector cleaner through it. Not the cheap crap. It should clear by the end of the tank.
