Ok I have from the transmission to the block 8 bolts removed and I can not get them to split.
also the 4 from the flex plate are out too.
2 from the pan
2 from the left and right side above the pan
2 from the top of transmission
2 from the left right side around the area of the cps connector.
so what am I missing ?

 

Engine mount bolts?

 

I believe there are like 12 or 14 bell housing bolts...you have to keep looking.
