It's probably just pulled from the truck and sold.
It would be adviseable to do head gaskets on that too.
I wouldn't pay that for it either, nowhere close.

Well my engine has 133k on it now so it would probably just be best to have him replace every gasket and do a clean while it's all apart anyway and keep my engine since it would be about 4500$ either route for it anyway then. At least I don't think my engine is truly messed up it's just leaking coolant and oil and I'm sure is gunked up a lot from it not being taken care of well from the guy before me (I've had it almost 2 years now) so I'm sure with every single new gasket and a clean I would imagine it would last me a while anyway as long as I take care of it.

Might as well do crank and rod bearings too, they are under $75, the oil pan will be off, and he should only charge another hour or so of labor.
The timing cover would come off for a gasket, so a $30 oil pump would be smart as well.
And reman injectors are $60 and will be no problem to swap as the intake will be off anyway.

Thanks I will definitely do those I've found everything else but where did you find a 30$ oil pump?

I'd give them a call, their website leaves a lot to be desired but they are fantastic and very helpful via phone or email.

The planetary gears in the top picture are the oil pump.
They fit behind a plate on the back, bottom side of the timing cover, the middle picture.
The seal in the bottom picture is the front crankshaft seal in the timing cover, and the same seal visible in the timing cover picture(even though they are shown in 2 different colors).

Ohhhh ok thanks, lol well alrighty this has been very helpful when I get around to the project in a couple months, I will certainly look to do all this stuff to keep my high mileage engine running as good as possible, any chance some of this would stop loud ticking or would I need a different new part of the engine?
