5"? holy dang. That is a lot of modding to get to. I had heard the black ones were a mild lift, and thought about going that route myself, really glad I didn't now.

I'm trying to work out a deal here locally. If it falls through I'll probably put them up for sale and put that money towards a 2"-3" springs.

"OKDiscoguy", did you make that grill? Have any close up pics?

I think I have closer pics at home. I got another grill, and got bored. I just cut the fins of my old one and glued in the screen from the back. I haven't had a heating problem, and in fact it runs cooler than it did before last summer. But, I am going to go with a different material. Pep boys has a piece of stamped aluminum for mesh inserts that I am going to try. I think it is just the right size...
