RE: exhaust question
just got my rover back from the pipe shop... cut the pipes at the cats and from there went into two 12 inch glaspaks mounted next to each other under the driver side, and ran those into two seperate pipes exiting down and out in front of the rear tires... i know that this presents an issue with pinching the pipes on large rocks, but where i live there are no rocks, or hills, or trails... just sugar cane fields and marshland... so thats not an issue for me... it sounds awesome i'm super excited about it... its not the install i would suggest to everyone, but you could run the same setup and just get the rear exit instead of the sides... cost 300 bucks total at a local muffler shop and took about two hours... i will post pics as soon as i remember where i put the charger for my digital camera...

RE: exhaust question
I used a 4" grinder with a cutting wheel and cut out my muffler and replaced it with an old delta flow 40 serieas muffler I had laying around. I then cut off the resonator and replaced it with a straight pipe with a down spout at the end, right even with the rear bumper. All using exhaust clamps, adapters, pipe, and hangers from autozone. The installation actually went well and actually looks semi professional. My disco now has that smooth british V8 sound, that can be heard from 3/4 of a mile away. It isnt nasty loud, its a very smooth, low toned, growl, very pleasant actually. I love it. But if you are one who would be driven insane from interior droning effects, then my setup would send you to the insane asylum...lol. It drones bad, but I love it!
