I've recently gotten my discovery 2 up and running. After getting it going, I've got an exhaust smell that comes in the cabin pretty strongly. I do have codes for oxygen sensors and am going to be putting those in but that smell should go out the tailpipe if thats what it is. Anywhere else it can come from in the engine bay? exhaust has no holes, checked where I put the exhaust manifold back together and didn't forget to tighten anything down.

Did you by chance install a CDL linkage? Not properly sealing up the CDL linkage cover plate (the plates held down by rivets) will allow exhaust gases and unwanted engine heat into the cab.
Other than that, maybe entering through the firewall somehow?
How does the truck run? The cats aren't plugged are they?

Does it matter whether the air conditioning is on? In other words, is it stronger when it is on?
I suggest that, at night, you have someone flash a bright flashlight all over the firewall are and see if you see any light when (awkwardly) looking up from the footwells.
I had the same issue and the grommet that routes the main wiring harness through the firewall was out of place. It is on the passenger side.
I will check with the light in a few days. Arm surgery was on Friday taking some old pins out. That makes sense so will check those grommits.
I had a six hour drive today and smelled exhaust in the cabin again, so I stopped and checked the grommet with a flashlight. It was still in place. So there must be other leak points.
