I wish I read this thread earlier. I had the exact same issue. Passenger side Y-pipe to manifold flange factory weld was leaking. A little higher up then yours but damn close. There's a thread on here somewhere detailing my frustrations.

Good luck with the weld. My initial weld only for a few months before leaking again. I pulled the YPipe and rewelded only for it to leak again. Purchased a new YPipe.

We are seeing these cracks pretty often at the shop lately...as well as cracks between the flange where the downpipe bolts to the manifold and the pipe(near the nuts).

Hopefully my weld will hold... I had a buddy, who is a welding instructor at the vocational school connected to my high school, do the welding, so I'm pretty sure the weld quality will be high...

It sure sounds better and seems to run a little better with this fixed...

Another follow-up on this thread... After fixing the exhaust leak, I became focused on resolving the lack of power and poor fuel economy. Changing all four O2 sensors resolved the lack of power I was experiencing and it also increased my fuel economy significantly...
