I have a set in my garage for about a year now in the box. Going to get around to putting them on this spring. They are a direct fit. I'll let you know about the screws in the morning.

Nah, going to put them on. Kinda waiting until I do my paint job. Also adding these:

You'd want 2" wheel spacers and wider tires for them to look good, but other than that I think they look nice.

Have you thought of just doing a fender flare delete? That's what I'm probably doing this week.

^ I mean, I'm doing this for a reason of course.
I'm running a wide/low offset 16" wheel with 32" M/T's so I need/want the extra width.

just got em...no instructions.
they look great...comes with a run of cut-to-fit gasket material and a bunch of sheet metal screws w/black caps.

I guess this is simple a test fit, pilot, and bolt down kinda deal...

anyone else install them before I have at it?
how was OE flare removal? they're just held on with tape?

The OE Flare removal is a MAJOR "female dog"

It might be bad if you are not worried about keeping them in good shape to refinish, but is still going to be hard.

Get a blow dryer, NOT A HEAT GUN, start at one end and warm up about 4 inches for about 3 to 5 minutes. Get a plastic door panel tool (harbor freight has them cheap) and work the corner loose enough to start shiming the tool behind it. start prying and pulling up and back at the same time. Helps if someone else can angle the hair dryer behind the piece once you get the edge up enough. If they can heat while you pull, it will be alot easier.

Take some fishing line and run it behind the flares to cut the tape.
