Anyone else experiencing unusually long shipping delays on recent orders from the UK? My order from John Craddock placed on February 4th just arrived today, March 2nd. At least my dog barrier arrived in one piece with all the hardware and the instructions/cutting template!

Got my order today from RImmer that I ordered Sunday.

 

Got my Southdown snorkel in a little less than a week. Same with some other parts I bought over the past month.

 

sometimes i get orders from uk into canada faster than usa

 

I've had the same experience with LRdirect in the last few years where my orders would arrive within a couple of days which is why I thought this was so unusually long.

 

I've never ordered from the U.K.. Are there any any additional charges applied?

 

There can be for shipping and for payment processing fees charged by your bank or CC. I use a card with no international transaction fees. Just ordered a Ashcroft CDL shifter 10 minutes ago lets see how long it takes to get to me.

 

My rear bumper was 6 days to Vancouver

 

Did you note how it was shipped and the transit status?
It could have been sent on a boat, hence a long delay. It could have been held in customs, another delay. Weather in US delayed many packages.
A dog guard is going to be a an expensive shipment if sent by air because the size will create a dimensional weight charge. Packages past a certain size are charged a size charge, dim weight, or their actual weight whichever is higher.
My Discovery related packages have been arriving from the UK in about a week.
