Default Factory Clock

I have a 02 D2...it has the factory clock, which I am sure is standard.

Should this clock have a back light at night? Mine can only be seen during the day, it is pointless after dark.

Yes, the clock should light up with the other dash lights. There is a bulb in the back of the clock that need to be replaced. Remove the switches below the clock then use a flat head screwdriver under the bottom of the clock to release the tabs that hold it in place.

Its the same for a DII.
Remove the bulb and buy a new one at your local autoparts store.

For anyone else reading:

1 remove cup holder tray (4 philips screws behind ash tray and coin tray, two per)
2 push old credit card, one on top, the other on the bottom of clock.
3 pull clock out
4 bulb is in back, turn ccw quarter turn
5 remove
6 reverse order for install

Enjoy

Nick
