Default Fair weather Rover

My 2000 Disco II has turned into a fair weather friend. On rainy days, humid days, or snowy days it will not start. Nothing, dash lights come on but when I turn the key to start no sound, the dash lights do not even dim. When the sun comes out for a couple of days she starts right up and continues to start every day until the weather changes. I replaced the starter last summer and she ran fine until January. Has anyone had a similar problem or situation? Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'd think ignition key lock cylinder connections or wire to starter issue. Possibly just a bad battery terminal connection.

Yeah, check main cables...especially ground cable at alternator bracket end. Can't remember if there's a starter relay in the fuse box under the hood or not. But check in the fuse box for possible relay issue.

Will check all those items and see if cleaning ground connections will help. Thanks.
