Fan blew up
So my daughter in denver called broke down. That triple A that CV I got her finally paid off.
The mechanic called and said the fan blew apart. It took out the radiator, the shround, the PS reservoir, and the upper hose.
I had intended to do the doorman/Hayden upgrade on her rig next time she came home.
Moral of this story is....do the doorman hayden upgrade.

The belt was my first thought. Surprisingly it is still in one piece.
I had the guy order the nissens radiator, the hayden 2991, the doorman 620-112, and he was gonna get the shroud and PS reservoir from a junkyard.
If anybody breaks down west of Vail pass, I would give a big thumbs up to using Werks diesel repair in gypsum colorado.

That sucks Zuke, but it sounds completely under control! I’ve had two folks have their OEM fan blades explode this summer on 1 P38 Bosch & an 01 D2. P38 guy had to get a new hood as well! D2 fella just needed the usual, but he got away without nearly as much damage as the P38.
Don't know if you all noticed my recommendation for a diesel repair shop. That just goes along with my usual rant about people saying you gotta use land rover shops. (LOOKIN AT YOU MR OHENDO)
