Default Fastest highway speed you are comfortable with

I typically cruise at about 70 mph with about 2800 rpm. That's my comfort level and I am a grumpy old guy so I am not in a hurry.

I got one kid who just insists on running at 85 mph everywhere she goes. As you are aware, kids know everything so trying to convince her that this is a bad idea goes nowhere.

What highway speeds do you all run at?

I typically run 5 mph over the posted limit. The freeways by my place are 70 mph so I typically go 75 mph and only go above that if I need to pass.

On 85 here in SC, limit is 60 - everyone around me typically drives 80
I stick to about 70 - 75 seems OK in the D2 but I start to get a vibration I havent identified yet so I keep it under there.
Regardless, 75 in either of my cars feels pretty comfortable without being nerve racking.
Its also slow enough most often that I never have to pass anyone... lol

80-90MPH if I drive it down to Chicago.

Same with my Range Rover Classics, 75-85 MPH

I’ve never driven my LR’s like miss daisy. With that being said the speed limit in TX is usually 75MPH (west of Junction, TX it goes up to 85MPH!!). I’ve always gone 5MPH over the speed limit so that’s 70-80MPH depending on the highway I’m on.

Zero issues & that is in D2’s with 3inches of lift.

I’ve gotten up to 82MPH on the motorway and lost the driver’s side A-pillar cowling in the wind.
I’ll never do that again.

That happened on my 06 LR3 A pillar at 88MPH.... Guess it wanted to go Back To The Future, but it just started falling apart instead.
