fault code 1316, misfiring

Default fault code 1316, misfiring
I have a 96 Disco. Repaced the oxygen sensors bur still misfiring. Fault code 1316 (excessive emissions) shows on the scan. Any ideas what I should check for next?

How old are your spark plug wires???

Check the spark strength, if a coil is going you'd see misfires, after that... well, your ECU I guess but coils is more likely.

02 sensors were not the cause of your mis fires, what brand of spark plugs and wires did you use, what octane gas do you use?
You may want to recheck it for any more fault codes and get back to us.

Checked wires in the dark..they are arking. I'm going to purchase the Magnecor 8mm wires and see if that makes a difference

The magnecor are awesome I put them on this past weekend and wow what a difference! Hughly recommend
