Default fell off my truck today....


Fell off my truck in driveway, any one know what this is?

It buffer the frame from being hit by the axle. Name is slipping my mind.

Should I be worried about it? Looks like it rusted off

Yeah, looks like a bump stop. I wouldn't be worried about it so much as I would be about the rusting that apparently led to it falling off your truck.

That stops the parts from smashing together.
My wife has ours off the ground and came back down and smashed those...
Like what was said, I'd be worried about your frame.

100% it's an Axle Bump Stop.
Could be either Front or Rear, but look on the frame and you will see the base plate of the bump stop still attached.
No big deal just remove the base plate and replace with a new bump stop ( do all 4 if this is the condition of 1 ).

lol yes but not that high...
going down a dirt path and there was a rain trough cut in the road, she was going kind of fast, the truck launched and that was fun.
