Default Fender arches to keep or not

So I took my black fender arches out to install these bigger ones off my parts disco and now I kinda like the look without any arches.
Any downside to keeping it without any arches? What you think ?
Keep it bare ?
Install the bigger arches ?

This is interesting. Your truck is my color twin. Since installing 235/85-16 I am considering no flares since my tire choice is tall and skinny. Gets closer to the D1 Camel look. My stock flares have been painted or coated and look like crap so that helps.

I like the look of no flares and have been considering that as mine fade... Do those wide ones screw on? I would not like that.

i guess you could use some adhesive or silicone but yes they have self tappers screws that tap into the body

No flares plz. These trucks look so much better without. Took mine off the same day I got my D2 (might want to mask off and spray inside of the fender arch well with bedliner, or undercoating so the stuff shooting from the tires won't damage paint)

looks like what mine will look like I’m going that route I think. Much cleaner look. Those flares look good on darker vehicles.

3M makes an adhesive remover that you use with a drill. Works great. Autopart store should have it.
