The problem is some chuckle f@$ck removed it. One by the starter. I cant seem to locate the plug for it so i can replace if. They also took the heat shields which i didnt know were a thing it was missing and needed until i satarted to check it out. Anyways...where should the plug come out of the harness at?

If I'm not mistaken it runs down with the main starter cable/12v wire then branches off to the knock sensor. Or it runs down the coolant pipe in that loom and then to the sensor. I can look when I get home. I know drivers side runs under AC bracket past water pump & down to the sensor.

Comes out of the harness near the alternator. Special shielded wire. Take special care repairing it, best to get a piece of harness off a breaker and splice it in.

does the harness for the knock sensor go back to a plug anywhere? There is and 02 at the nearby u pull yard and I was wondering if I could just get the whole harness instead of trying to splice it.

Had to repair one recently, they do not go back to plug. Best to cut a long length off of u-pull-it truck and splice in. I soldered my connection to make sure it was secure.
