Default Finally... New Tires!!!

Hi guys,

Just wanted to share a few photos of my most recent upgrade. I previously installed a 2" RoverTym lift, but after a fateful encounter with a stone curb in Atlanta, I got new tires! I went with the Hankook DynaPro MTs in a 275/65R18, and I love them! For a mud tire, they are very quiet and smooth. I was worried about switching from the ATs I had before, but after a day of riding they feel and sound great. My garage is beginning to look like a Rover shop with all the parts I have to install. Over the next week I will install sway bar disconnects, Terrafirma +2" shocks, extended ABS lines, and stainless steel brake lines. I am also going to be constructing some DIY bumpers and sliders... more on that later. Let me know what you think!

I LOVE those tires, I want a set but they do not come in my size.
You will need to come play in the snow this winter so you can see what they can really do, I've heard they are unstoppable in the snow.

That looks awesome. I'm just north of Atlanta in Cartersville. How bad did the lift/tires affect your gas mileage?

Don't spend the money on replacing the ABS lines, disconnect them and reroute them and you will have all the length you need.
What sort of wheeling will you be doing, if H.D., you might consider the extended OME Port shock, for a lot better/controlled ride.

Can you go into more details on the re-routing them? When I installed my 3 inch lift, I just pulled them out of their holders. That seems to be fine for the front, but the rears MIGHT get a little tight if fully unloaded.... probably not likely in real life, but on the lift during the install it had me worried.

I got a set of 5 for right at $1,700 installed. Kinda pricey, but not bad considering I replaced the spare too.
