Do you have the build dates?

Gotta crawl under your D2 grab a telescoping mirror & you should see the nipple surrounded by 3 10mm bolts that hold the plate into place on the TC. If the area is 100% flat directly ontop and just behind where the front driveshaft sits = No CDL. The 02 is a 50/50 shot depending on the build date if it’s an early 02 made in late 01 chances are it will have the CDL nipple, if it’s late 02 & up I doubt it. The 03 certainly won’t unless someone replaced the TC at one point.

To be clear, my 02 was built in Dec of 2001 and had the nipple. I believe any D2 built starting in Jan 02 does not have it.

I hear it's an absolute crap chute. Nobody seems to have a definitive answer, including Land Rover.

I've owned 3 02's and they all had CDL nipples. I think it's after like 3/02 that LR completely ditched CDL equipped TC's until late 03 (sold as 04's) and of coarse the final 04's.

I've found that if you gently kiss and nibble the neck of your Rover the nipple will become quickly apparent.
