Default Firestone Destination 2 MT

Will the Firestone Destination 2 MT fit a 00' Disco with 18 inch wheels? Or would it require a lift or 16 inch wheel to fit?

If it will fiti want your opinions on the tire, or what you know about them!

THANKS

Here is the list of sizes it comes in:

I am not sure which one I would need, this will be my first tire upgrade since I bought the truck. Like I said I have 18 inch wheels so my main concern is if it will even fit the wheel in the first place. I will need some help determining what size I need.

It's a moot point as the tires listed on the chart you posted do not come in an 18"

hmmm. Sorry my tire knowledge is so low.... DO you guys know of a good tire (similar to the destination) that will go on 18" wheels? Like I said this is my first tire change on the rover so I need some good tips. Also, I am looking into something much better for off road than what I have now (check pics to see what I mean).

BFG Radial All Terrains always get great reviews. I had them on my Jeep and LOVED them. Debating making the upgrade for da rover. Just so youknow, when you read the tire sizes, the number that follows the "R" is the rim size, so a 245/75R18 is for an 18 rim while a 245/75R16 is for a 16 inch rim.

Are you looking for a mud tire, or just a better offroad tire. M/T will give you crazy road noise and tend to wear out faster on the road.

General grabber AT/2s make an 18 inch tire, and it's a great off-road and winter tire. Its also much quieter than the BFGs and cost almost half.

THANK YOU! Thats exactly what i needed to know. From what you and Darover said it sounds like there are some good options out there, I just need to do some research. As for what I am looking for, I would say just a good all around off road tire, not really a mud tire. It would be nice if it where somewhat go on-road as well, but I can compromise.

Second that on the General Grabber AT2's. I have had them in the 18" (255/55/18) size for the last 2,000 miles - rain, hwy, and snow - and they are a great improvement over the Wranglers (but what wouldn't be). Much quieter, handle well, excellent in snow, and don't look like a car tire ...unlike most (if not ALL) other selections for the 18" rims. Have not had them off-road yet, but look like they can handle it just fine.

These are a GREAT tire, 60% on road and 40% off road. And they come in a 18".
