Default Fixed my alcantara door panel

I kind of searched around, and it seems that this is a hard thing to do, so I was wondering if there would be any interest in me making a DIY on changing out your alcantara patches on your door panels. my disco I just bought had about a 4 inch hole worn through it. I could have taken the panel in to get recovered once I got it off the door card, but decided I would just swap in a good panel off a broken door card out of the junk yard. The pics here are of the door panel with the alcantara panel off and the new one on. I think once the panel is removed in theory, you could get it covered at an upholstery shop with any kind of material you want, so long as they have it

Please. I have a hole in mine at the front of the handle area where the PO liked to rest his leg. I did not know if that panel was removable or not.
