Flashing Battery (Charging) Warning Light
Hi everyone!
After replacing the alternator with a reman unit from USA Industries (original alternator sounded like a bushing was going out) I started to get a flashing battery warning light. The thing that's odd is that the light has no paticular rythm... I bought a new battery as I needed a new one at some point.
So, new battery and a new alternator and the light is still flashing with no paticular rythm and is not engine speed related. I have not checked the out voltage of the alternator yet but wanted to see if anyone had experienced this?
Thanks!
Andrew

You got a piece of junk for a reman, much did you pay for it, can you return it. Might want to go by a local parts store and have them test it, voltage should be between 13.6 and 14.4 volts.
