where are good places to look for buying parts, floor mats, etc. ('03 Disco)

Also, I took off my console switch plate to see that the heated seat switch slots are there, does that mean my truck is wired for heated seats? I heard that it is but thought this would be the place to ask.

Anyone know any independent Rover shops near San Antonio?

You can go to Atlantic British, Rover Connection or DAP and buy the seat heater package so you can wire into the existing wire harness.
Atlantic British has the floor mats, call then at 1-800-533-2210 and order a catalog from them.

Another question regarding my 2002 Discovery.

I do not have heated seats and have read the thread above regarding the Atlantic British panel and switches.

Are the seats already setup with heating elements (could we get that lucky???) or do heating elements have to be added to the leather seats?

If it has a laether interior it does. I did mine in about 5 minutes and now have toasty buns........... although it's been too warm to really test them out.

 

You are set, just buy the switchs and trim plate and you are set.

My understanding is they are all prewired for heated seats....I've had good luck with AtlanticBritish and they carry the "activation kit" you're most likely looking for.
