there is a fine line between cheap junk and cheap functional. I seem to never be able to guess right each time lol. I have friends running Baja Design LP6s on their bumpers and good lord they are incredible but too rich for my blood, $500 a light or so (I do have some baja products and love them: camp lights and a dust light/reverse light). Hella has the valuefit line that has my attention as a nice blend of cost and function. Waiting to see how ArmyRover likes his on his LR3.

Slightly off topic but, I think the best thing I've done for my D2 is enlarged the amber reflector cut outs in the ARB bumper and mounted some 6" Diode Dynamics SAE approved amber LED fog bars, really helps in poor weather and at night. Plus you can run them full time so long as they are aimed properly.

Yep same haha, I think 7" rounds are about as big as I'd go personally on these. I think the 9" are just too big imo.

Thanks, man. All the lights I bought used and have never had a problem. The 4000’s were maybe $200 for the pair and the 3000’s on the rack cost me about the same for 4 of them.

Actually Now that I think about it the only bolt on accessory that I purchased new was the rear bumper from Atlantic British, everything else I bought used. Between the 6 Hella Rallyes, the Saftey Devices Rack and the ARB bumper I think I am in for maybe $1k.

The 4000’s I have are 9”, they fill the ARB really well.

I have the IPF 6-7" ones on my bumper and I am quite partial to the look of them...light output is a different story..

FWIW the 2004 Owner's Hanbook shows the front fog lights are 55 watt H11 bulbs. But interestingly, the fuse specified for the front fogs is 15 amps, which means you should be able to run anything up to 180 watts total on the circuit. But I'd probably leave a little headroom so as to not press my luck and have the fuse blowing.
