Default Follow up on windsheild leak...

My ever popular leak at the "A" posts persists, extended warranty won't cover due to it being an exterior seal and "normal wear and tear." I've put sealant in the gaps on either side of the windsheild, we'll see how that goes. I also called around, it's only about $100 to have it resealed by safe-lite. Anyone had success w/ resealing the windsheild?

Years ago I had a Chevy that did that, it "suddenly" developed a crack and had to be replacedby the insurance companyand thus it was resealed and the leak was gone.
So yes re-sealing it will fix the leak.

What makes you sure it's your windshield leaking? I had a leak from above the "A" pillar too. After having my windshield caulked three times,As well asremoved and reinstalled it turned out being a leaky roof rack. Even that didn't totally fix it as I still get a small wet spot from a long driving rain.
