@frostythor you did the quarter chaise right?
my area travels right up through where that would mount. But once I tear into it I will know more. Then patch it for now and maybe go that route once I have more funds. If not I might go the half chaise. Especially since this one is much better than our last one in so many ways.

Looking at your photos the top of the inside is fine, I know to do a repair would take a lot of welding, cutting but it is possible
this is how the chassis is made up and why they are so strong
now remanufactured items do not have the angle iron fitted inside they increase the wall thickness to 3mm to provide more strength
