Default Free engine stand in Nor Cal…

…comes with a tired 4.6 short block. Crower 50229 cam, lifters, and pushrods all have about 35k on them and are in good shape. All lifters and pushrods are individually numbered and bagged

In Redwood City.

Ha!

If I get no takers, I'll probably take the cam out and save it in case mine fails. I'd keep the block and make a garage/lounge table out of it - but I'm downsizing homes and don't need to haul around extra junk... Crank is good, and I would imagine the pistons and rods are too. I can clearly see the original cross hatch marks in the cylinders after 270K!

I'd take you up on that if I had the space! Good deal for someone in the bay area.

EV's might be great in a metro area, but sorry out in the country or elements EV's are not the everyday solution. Heck my wife's brand new robot vacuum cleaner runs for maybe 15-20min if that then crawls it's way back to the charging station where it sits for 1-3hr to recharge then go back out again for 15-20min vs the normal vacuum cleaner which runs until you turn it off lol.

Free Stuff like this never seems to pop up in my neck of the woods lol.

Not 100% sure. I started to get a misfire in cyl 3. New plugs, wires, and refurbished injectors later, still had the misfire. That’s all the excuse I needed to finish the new build. When I took the heads off, cyl 3 was steam cleaned. Heads were newer and looked good.

Huh, interesting. This is super tempting since I'm only about an hour away, but gosh, I just don't need a stand currently. Any other disco things you're getting rid of?
