Default Front Bumper

I recently cracked my front bumper cover on my 00 Disco on a snow bank and need to replace it. I can't believe how flimsy the plastic covers are made. I found a replacement plastic bumper cover for $178 but I am not sure if I should get a heavier bumper so this doesn't happen again. Any suggestions?

Get the $178 bumper and avoid snow banks.....or go with an ARB style and knock down trees and mid-west mobile homes. Problem is that the ARB will cost what 4 or 5 OEM bumpers will cost. If it is just a crack, you can try using JB Weld and some backing to see if it can be fixed. Phil

Keep in mind that if you go with a HD bumper like an ARB you'll need to upgrade do HD springs and shocks to handle the weight of the heavier bumper....the ARB bumper is SAH-WEEET though

You will be all right with stock shocks if you go with a nice slim line bumper w/o winch. The ARB is extra heavy for what it is.

Maybe

or a RTE Slimline Bumper.
