New to the Disco world and have a few ???
Hey guys,
I have been reading your posts, very helpful. I just bought my first Disco 2, Its a 99 with 59k on it. Very nice shape. It has had the 60k service done.
I have a leaky throttle body issue, (because of the post I think I can handle that)
I have an audio problem, varying levels and cutting out. Any suggestions?
I am missing the ash trays (suggestions?)
I have read your things to watch out for and so far so good..
Thanks guys...

roverlandparts.com is a good salvage, or e-bay for the trim pieces. Also a good source for a replacement head unit. Not sure on the audio problems.
keep in mind that just because someone says the 60K has been done, doesn"t mean that it has. Check your front driveshaft for grease zerks. If you don't have them, get it re-built to add service points or replace with a tom woods or similar.

In discomike's sig there is a link to an audio service place that specializes in servicing Land Rover head units if yours hasn't been modified. It might be an option if you think the head unit is the culprit. I have never used them however I did look into their ipod input port and it looks nice.
