Default front bumper

I am looking for options on triming the front bumper. What I think I want to do is trim the lower portion of the bumper out including the fog light housing up to the black trim line. Mike I read in a post between you and another member that you had some ideas on this matter. I would appreciate it if you would share those with me. The lower portion is cracked, and I may want to get an aftermarket bull bar or something of that nature. I have looked at some pictures and like what I see. I want the massive clearance look if you guys know what i am talking about.. Vehicle is a 2000 Disco II SE7. Thanks again guys.. Awsome forum.

Hey, I have actually done this to my 00 Disco. Front bumper is way to low for off road! I will try to get a photo so you can see how it will look.

when you are posting a reply, look down on the bottom. There is a link for " click here to upload" It is in light brown, so it is easy to miss. The pics have to be small, but it does work.

FYI

I kept the bar on that used to attach to the bottom of the bumper. It seems to guard the front axel. I would suggest you do the same.

Here's a pic I took on lunch today. I am planning on buying a metal bumper (ARB more than likely) eventually, but this is a good temp solution for front clearance issues.

I am not sure what I did, but for some reason it is not showing the entire photo! I will take another tomorrow with low res. and see if that works.
