Default Front bumper replacement question?

I live in D.C. and the snow has taken a brutal toll on my truck. Not only did I have to replace the rear wiper arm and the front left wiper, I damaged my front end. I had a little run in with my garage wall due to a snow bank behind my garage. I backed out and just clipped the front end. I scrapped the hell out of the left front bumper, (its a two part/section bumper) and cracked it. I took it in for service and they gave me a quote of 500$ for the part and paint. Now my question is can i get that bumper part pre-painted black and for a cheaper price. Is cannibalism of another truck a possibility? Responses would be great.

you can buy a new steel bumper for that price and never worry about snow hurting your truck again.... all of our bumpers are black so you can pull one off a junkyard or someone parting one out if you wanna stay plastic

They have a few covers on e-bay right now....Is it just the cap on the end? Easy swap if it is..

I Just bought the center plastic peice on my 2003 discovery on ebay for 117.00 without paint. I figure somone will paint if for me for under a $100.00, or I will just get some black spray paint and paint it myself.
