Default Front coil/shock suggestions

2000 Disco II with ACE, original front coils/shocks, SLS > coils in the rear.

Just added ARB with an 86# 12k Badlands winch.
Feels a little mushy now during bumps. Slight nose down attitude.
Want to change coils/shocks up front and shocks for the rear.

How are the trucks set up there with this type of gear. Pointers, suggestions,
even humor appreciated.

I'd go hd in front and rear. rear heavy, plus cargo/passenger. ome =779 front, 762 rear. hds with the weight up front is not too harsh. I do wish I had gone with more hd in rear.

OME is solid, and I agree 100% on the HD recommendation. I'd personally go with Terrafirma for my money...5% less quality for 40% less price IMHO, although some on this site are pretty opinionative about their shock/spring choice...like you're talking bad about their kids or something. Atlantic British PNs TF052 front/TF027V rear ($129/pair vs $198 for OME).

Does having ACE limit my choice of shocks? Don't see it anywhere but in AB there are shocks specifically saying w/o ACE and no mention on others. I'm thinking shock/spring TF.

Thanks for your response.

Ace does not limit shock selection.
